Sagan Amery

Please do not drive or operate machinery while listening to this podcast. It may make you sleepy!!

Episode 10

We all experience moments where we become angry, just as we have all dealt with people who have taken their anger out on us. Anger is an emotion given to humans in order to for us to learn how to cultivate patience, understanding and positivity. To indulge in anger is a simple choice. When we are able to choose patience and understanding over anger, and when we have acquired enough personal growth in order to recognize the positive in a situation, rather than the negative, then we will be rewarded with good things.

How I Changed My Life from “Bad” to “Good”

Sagan Amery

Please do not drive or operate machinery while listening to this podcast. It may make you sleepy!!

Episode 9

I used to be conditioned to believe that bad and good things happened to everyone. And that sometimes bad things happen to good people. And that made me feel frustrated, and always asking “why me?” But then I made serious changes in my life, like forcing myself to adopt a positive attitude no matter what.I no longer want to suffer. So I have removed doubt, and fear from my life. Not everyone will get to this point, and that’s okay. But for those of you who are willing to learn, and are open to receiving magic from the universe. I am here to guide you.

Wealth Mindset

Sagan Amery

Please do not drive or operate machinery while listening to this podcast. It may make you sleepy!!

Episode 8

There is a mindset that is necessary when becoming a person who doesn’t have to worry about money. And unfortunately, for most of us, we are not raised to think this way. If our parents are constantly reminding us how broke or poor we are, we will eventually believe it, and start repeating the words. Miracles will happen when you begin to work on your perspective and how you go about each day.

Guided Meditation for Sleep & Relaxation

Sagan Amery

Please do not drive or operate machinery while listening to this podcast. It may make you sleepy!!

Episode 7

We’re going to do a meditation that is very different than the ones you may be used to. I’m not going to ask you to breathe in and out deeply. But if breathing exercises help you to relax then you may do so. I also wrote a story for you, and it will lead you into the deepest state of relaxation. Allowing your mind to gently drift off to sleep. Don’t worry about finishing the story, you can come back to it another time.

Is the Glass Half Full or Half Empty?

Sagan Amery

Please do not drive or operate machinery while listening to this podcast. It may make you sleepy!!

Episode 6

Whenever someone tells me they are having a bad day, I try to remind them that they are just having a bad moment, and it doesn’t reflect the entire 24 hours. It’s so easy to feel down when something doesn’t go our way, and then we lump in all of the negative things so it seems like a bad day or a bad week. But these things are really just moments, not entire days, and when you separate them, you will give space for the good things to shine through. And if you collect the good things and lump them together instead, often times they will outnumber the bad things, and you find out that you are actually having a good day, or a good week. This takes a lot of work, because just like in episode 4 when I told you that you should be carefully choosing your words, you also have to carefully choose your focus. You have to catch yourself focusing on the bad, and turn it into a good.

You Are Special!!

Episode 5

Life is strange, no one can deny that. Here we are, on a circular object filled with 71% water, and we don’t have gills. It is spinning around at 1,000 mph, in a solar system in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by vast space that we can’t breathe in, gills or not. And we don’t have any friends on other planets. That we know of anyway. This is it. We are just born, into skin suits that move us around, and we have to make our way through the school of life. Some say it’s a miracle, some say it’s a bizarre accident, and other believe something in between. Regardless of what you believe, you can’t deny the fact that your very existence is important. You are here for a reason, and if you do the work, you can find out why. This will lead to a state of happiness and wellbeing. But it takes time to get your mind in the place it needs to be. We are all given different situations, and each have to find our way to happiness and fulfillment on our own journey. And not everyone gets there smoothly. In fact, almost no one can avoid drama, trauma, detours and obstacles. No matter how rich or poor you are when you start out, everyone has to find their way through the rough terrain, and each person’s experience requires careful navigation. Sure, some people have it easier than others.

Don’t Hope, Just Have Faith and Believe...

Sagan Amery

Episode 4

The further we go into this podcast, the more I will teach you my secrets about Law of Attraction and manifesting. When I first started getting into this stuff, I wasn’t sure how real it was. But because it didn’t cost anything, and it couldn’t hurt, I figured why not? In the beginning, it seemed so easy: just think positive and believe something will be a certain way, and that’s the way it will be. I eventually figured out that there is way more that goes into it, and if it was that easy to create a life the way I wanted it to be, everyone would be doing it effortlessly. I started to figure out how all of it works, and while I am still learning, or rather, creating new neural pathways, this new way of approaching life has put me in a much happier state of mind than I could have ever imagined.

I Refuse to Let Disease Define Me!!

Sagan Amery

Please do not drive or operate machinery while listening to this podcast. It may make you sleepy!!

Episode 3

Whether talking about mental health issues, or even things like autoimmune disease, people tend to label themselves constantly out of of habit and need. If someone feels as though they are not being supported through a rough time with their health, they are more likely to consistently remind those around them that they are suffering. It could be due to feeling ignored, or perhaps feeling frustrated with the symptoms of something such as depression, anxiety, or even a disease like Lupus. Obsession can even become a problem in these instances, where the afflicted person is constantly making posts on social media about the illness, and reminding everyone what is going on. The problem with this for one thing, it can tend to push healthy people away. Another issue with constantly labeling oneself with disease is the idea that you are actually manifesting and feeding the problem.

Are Mondays Your Enemy?

Sagan Amery

Please do not drive or operate machinery while listening to this podcast. It may make you sleepy!!

Episode 2

Does anyone really hate Mondays, or is it just another thing to blame for unhappiness? Sure, it’s the first day of the typical workweek. There you are having so much fun on the weekend, and before you know it, Sunday night appears and the dread kicks in about the next day, the day, that everyone loves to hate. But is it really Monday’s fault, or is it something deeper? I’m a believer that every day is a good day, and Monday is just as innocent as Friday. Why? Because Monday doesn’t decide where you go to work, or what you do with your time. People keep falling into a trap of saying “well my job pays the bills so I have to stay.” I’m here to tell you that is nonsense. You actually don’t have to keep that job, but you have convinced yourself that you do. And in order to feel better about it, you blame it on Monday. Because that is much easier than blaming yourself. Hey, I never said this podcast was going to be sugarcoated positivity. I said it I would share my secrets to happiness. And one of the ways I found happiness was to be real with myself. Believing that I have a choice, and that I can choose happiness.

Is Facebook Fueling Your Depression?

Sagan Amery

Please do not drive or operate machinery while listening to this podcast. It may make you sleepy!!

Episode 1

Everyone gets depressed from time to time, but there’s a big difference between feeling down once in awhile, and always experiencing profound sadness, procrastination, lack of energy, and loneliness. Many things can contribute to those feelings, but recent studies suggest that social media is part of it. You have to ask yourself the question: were you happier before you had a Facebook addiction? Yes, I said addiction. Because when it comes to social media, we all have an addiction to some extent. The constant checking to see what’s going on. Always having to be in the know. It’s unhealthy and can lead to some serious emotional issues.  Life is hard enough with bills to be paid, endless hours of work, kids to raise, and fitting in all of that while still trying to chase your dreams. But then you open the Facebook app looking to make a connection or read some funny memes and you’re bombarded with nasty posts about politics, war, animal abuse, people showing off their injuries, them whining about having a rough day, complaining about aches and pains, and just about everything you don’t want to see.
